This purposefully altered vase is constructed of incised slabs that are formed into rectangles, assembled, and then inscribed and twisted .The vases are intentionally not perfectly straight or square. This technique creates a unique asymmetrical presence that is vibrant and energetic.. Flowers fall gracefully into the corners and etched crevices of the carved rims. Multiple layers of glaze create depth and color variation, and minerals in the clay body are revealed along the surface edges. These are beautiful as stand-alone pieces or massed together to create a statement display. The floral arrangement is pink spring tulips.

Every piece of our pottery is handmade and is "one of a kind." There are always minor variations in size, shape, color, and glaze surface. All our clays and glaze are non-toxic and lead-free. Each piece has our studio mark stamped on the bottom.
