Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. This simple, elegant, and graceful vase makes beautiful arrangements for any room in your house. It is especially lovely as a centerpiece on a tabletop, as you can arrange your flowers symmetrically and low enough to see over while dining. The attached stainless steel pin frog holds flowers upright and in place. and helps to extend their life by piercing the stems. You only need a few flowers, leaves, or branches—-collect whatever you find outside your door or along your walks to make a beautiful arrangement for your table or counter. We use ours for garden flowers in the spring and summer, for branches of colored leaves in the fall, and at the holidays for balsam greens and holly.

Glaze: Lagoon—-a misty green/blue teal with cobalt accents. This is our newest color. These are daylilies.

Every piece of our pottery is handmade and is "one of a kind." There are always minor variations in size, shape, color, and glaze surface. Each piece has our studio mark stamped on the bottom.
