Ikebana is the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. This simple, elegant, and graceful vase makes beautiful arrangements for any room in your house. The attached stainless steel pin frog holds flowers upright and in place. and helps to extend their life by piercing the stems. You only need a few flowers, leaves, or branches—-collect whatever you find outside your door or along your walks and make a beautiful arrangement for your table or counter.

Glaze: Glaze: Matte Verde—-an “aged copper” green. This variable glaze reveals flecks of minerals in the clay and has a mottled surface.  It is both sophisticated and rustic. The chemical qualities of this glaze create slight color variations and surface irregularities. The pedestal is a graduated brown. It’s very wabi-sabi, which is the Japanese appreciation of the beauty of unique. variation. This arrangement is daylilies and hosta leaves from our yard.

Size: 4.5 in. x 1.75 in. This is the perfect small size for a handful of garden flowers or for the remains of a larger bouquet. It fits well on a windowsill, a bedside table, or a bathroom or kitchen countertop.
